Core Drama Program Levels 11 to 12

Program Highlights

This course introduces teens and young people to fundamentals of classical and modern literature, forms of theatre, design, movement and acting, while retaining focus on essential life skills like collaboration, communication skills, planning and managing theatre projects. Students also get opportunity to get internships on live theatre and filmmaking projects ay Joy Of Drama and work with visiting international mentors.

3-Year Course, 1 level per year

Is this course for you?

If your child is between the ages of 14 to 17 years then you can start at a level between 10 to 11 as advised for your child’s age.

International Drama Assessments

Group Assessment

All the in-studio students will take the mandatory London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art (LAMDA) group assessment in the month of May. Group assessments are not available for the online students.

Solo/Duo Assessment

All the in-studio students can also opt to take the London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art (LAMDA) solo assessment in the month of May. LAMDA Solo Assessment is mandatory for the online students.

SESSION PLAN

The Performers Course includes three sets of sessions- Drama Education, Martial Arts and Culture Clubs.

Drama Education Sessions

Session Duration: 90 Mins

Frequency: 4 Sessions/Month

Batch Strength: 10

International Assessments: NA

Commitment: Mandatory minimum no. of hours of attendance needed to qualify  for receiving course certificate

Availability: In-Studio​

martial arts Sessions

Session Duration: 60 Mins

Frequency: 4 Sessions/Month

Batch Strength: Fluid

International Assessments: NA

Commitment: Recommended but minimum attendance not required

Availability: In-Studio & Online​

Culture Club SESSIONS

Performers Course includes two culture clubs.

1. FILM CLUB

Children and young people learn to appreciate cinema by getting introduced to various filmmakers, writers and actors from different periods. They will also curate screenings interactive sessions with filmmakers

2. MUSIC CLUB

Children and young people learn to appreciate music by getting introduced to various forms of music, artists, instruments and genre by playing, singing and interacting with visiting musicians and subject matter experts. They will also organize concerts.

Club Session Duration: 90 Mins

Frequency: 1 Session/Club/Month

Batch Strength: Fluid

International Assessments: NA

Commitment: Recommended but minimum attendance not required

Availability: In-Studio

Course Fee

INR 16,500/- per month​

- A one time enrollment fee of INR 9000/- will be applicable

 

- International group assessment pack fee is applicable, it will be charged with the program fee in January. Not available for online students.

- International solo/duo assessment pack fee will be applicable and charged with the program fee in February. Mandatory for online students but optional for in-studio students.

  

- 18% GST is applicable on all fees
