Terms & Conditions



These Terms & Conditions apply to all our Joy Of Drama workshops, programs, and any additional products and/or services offered by Joy Of Drama in the future for any child (collectively “Joy Of Drama Activities”)

For participation of a child in a Joy Of Drama Activity all Parents are required to consent to these Terms & Conditions by signature or by ticking the acceptance box for these Terms & Conditions when submitting an electronic application form online. We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.


“Term” refers to one normal academic term of Joy Of Drama during which weekly classes are conducted.

“Term Dates” refers to the dates for the relevant Term.

‘Joy Of Drama’ refers to a collective of drama facilitators and education experts managed by Vaishali Chakravarty, resident of 8391 C-8 Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.



  • To apply for a place for a new Child in a Joy Of Drama program, the Parent/Guardian must agree to these Terms & Conditions and submit an application form online, by post or in person.



  • Fees for Joy Of Drama Activities may vary between Joy Of Drama batches and locations.

  • Joy Of Drama fees are reviewed annually and may be revised in July of each year. 

  • Each Child’s place is allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Online or paper applications must be accompanied by a full fee in case of a workshop or one month’s fee in case of an ongoing program.

  • Due date for payment of monthly fee is 7th day of every month. A late fee of Rs 500/- will be charged thereafter.

  • If the monthly fee is due for over 30 days, the enrollment to the concerned program will be cancelled.

  • The fee is non-refundable.

  • Full fee will be refunded in case a workshop is cancelled or postponed by Joy Of Drama. 

  • In case of an ongoing program being cancelled by Joy Of Drama, any advance fee paid for the remaining sessions will be refunded.

  • Part payment of fee is not allowed unless specified for a particular program or workshop.


  • Any discount, if offered, will be specified on the program/workshop page with applicable terms and conditions.


  • In case a student doesn’t attend one or more sessions during a workshop or an ongoing program no extra sessions or fee refund will be given.

  • If the participant fails to attend the workshop/program, the full course fees are still payable.

  • Joy Of Drama reserves the right to cancel any session and offer the option to attend on an alternative date.



  • Joy Of Drama does not offer a trial period.

  • For some workshops there may be a demo-session offered on a first-come-first-served basis.



  • The personal data of a Child and/or Parent submitted using the application form will be processed by Joy Of Drama for the purposes of administration and research, in relation to the provision of teaching services in drama.

  • Joy Of Drama will share this information with external agencies (for example organisations with responsibility for children’s safeguarding) only when required or permitted to do so by law.

  • Joy Of Drama will not disclose personal data to third parties for marketing purposes although Joy Of Drama may use personal data for their own marketing and business development purposes, including for the purposes of advertising and promoting new products and/or services by Joy Of Drama.

  • Parents who do not wish to receive marketing communications from Joy Of Drama should inform Joy Of Drama in writing.

  • Joy Of Drama will from time to time take photographs and film footage of Children during Programs/Workshops and performances for use in Joy Of Drama marketing and publicity material. Permissions are sought upon registration to Joy Of Drama activities.

  • Joy Of Drama owns all the rights, title and interest in and to its websites, including software, text and media and its trade marks, logos and brand elements. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects or licences the ownership of these rights. Any intellectual property created during any Workshop/Program which is owned by Vaishali Chakravarty



  • Children participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Joy Of Drama and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. All application forms must have any known medical conditions stated and any changes to such information must be notified to Joy Of Drama immediately in writing.

  • If you are unsure whether a Child should participate in any activity please consult the child’s GP before enrolling the Child on a Joy Of Drama Activity.

  • Children must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times.

  • If a Child is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the Parent will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided below or on the enrollment form. This number must always be contactable whilst the child is attending the Joy Of Drama Activity.

  • Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details on Joy Of Drama’s records are up to date.



  • Children are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Joy Of Drama can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

  • You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of Joy Of Drama to a Child or Parent under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the Joy Of - Drama Activity fee to which a claim relates.

  • The liability of Joy Of Drama and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.


  • Parents agree to allow their children to attend Joy Of Drama Activities online only under their supervision. 


  • Joy Of Drama may, at its own discretion, refuse a child's entry to a Joy Of Drama Activity or session of a Joy Of Drama Activity if it is felt that the child’s behaviour is unacceptable.

  • Joy Of Drama reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff from the advertised programme in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Where a session of a Joy Of Drama Activity has to be cancelled by Joy Of Drama, we will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last minute session cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message, a call to your mobile phone or through a designated Joy Of Drama social media site. Parents must ensure that they provide Joy Of Drama with up-to-date contact details and ask that Joy Of Drama is saved in your email address book to ensure emails reach your inbox.

  • It is occasionally necessary to change the time and/or venue of a Joy Of Drama Class. This will only be done if absolutely necessary and Joy Of Drama will do its best to keep class times and locations as similar as possible but unfortunately this cannot always be guaranteed.

  • In the event that a child is unable to attend a Joy Of Drama class, due to sickness, holiday or a decision by the parent or child not to attend, Joy Of Drama regrets that it is unable to refund any payment.

  • All children must be collected on time after a session. Joy Of Drama is unable to supervise children after a session.

  • Joy Of Drama fees are reviewed annually and may be increased in July of each year.

  • These Terms & Conditions, together with any registration form complete, constitute the entire agreement between the parties which supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.

  • In the event that one or more of the provisions of the Agreement are found to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, those provisions shall be deemed severed from the remainder of the Agreement.

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Government Of India and Government Of NCT Of Delhi. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
