Maura is an experienced English and drama teacher, writer and public speaking coach. She has lectured in English Language at Queen’s University Belfast, and has been a performing arts and communication skills examiner with Trinity College London for over twenty years.
Maura is also an arts adjudicator and she has judged for the BBC, the Hong Kong Drama Speech Festival and the Sri Lanka Shakespeare Schools Competition.
Recently Maura has had her writing adapted and performed in the Waterside Theatre Derry. Maura’s work has taken her to many exciting locations in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe; she enjoys nature and long forest walks.
