She has a successful private practice and has been appointed the Standing Counsel for DDA, Additional Standing Counsel for Govt of NCT Delhi and Counsel for the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
She has been associated for over a decade with Sh. Kailash Satyarthi, Noble Peace Prize Laureate’s organizations Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA). As their retained counsel in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court, she has represented the organization in scores of Public Interest Litigations.
Ms. Kaur is currently representing BBA on the Committee for Reforms in Criminal Laws set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI. She has been dedicated to the social cause of prevention of child labour and bonded labour, prevention of children in sexual offences, human tracking, victim compensation and protection under POCSO. She has also written voraciously on these issues. She has been invited as a Guest for her legal opinion by many renowned TV Channels such as India Today, NDTV, CNN-IBN, etc.
